Sculptor and artist John Vale opened Water + Stone Gallery with his wife Collette, utilizing the talented combination of John’s creative disposition and Collette’s business expertise to design and create high-end garden sculptures and water features, as well as showcase those of other national and local artists.

The Vale’s original garden gallery in West Linn, Oregon, featured John’s work alongside the work of ten other West Coast artists, his talent earning him the accolades of the Lawrence Gallery and the Clackamas County Arts Alliance, as well as a commission to create an interior water feature that appeared in Home Magazine.

After relocating to Jacksonville, Florida in 2004, the Vales decided to reopen their beloved shop off US-1 in St. Augustine. The gallery features a Zen garden and high-end natural stone artwork by John and featured national and local artists, with a myriad of designs to fulfill the desires of designers, builders, landscape architects, and both garden and sculpture enthusiasts alike.
